Nature Journaling Through the Seasons (All Levels)
Slow down and connect with the natural world through line and wash watercolor, and observation-based journaling. Students will create journal pages inspired by summer and early autumn subjects such as flowers, insects, birds, seed pods, and small landscape studies. This relaxed and encouraging class combines simple artistic techniques with mindful observation and creative exploration. No previous drawing experience necessary. Materials:

• Brushes: 4,6, round brush
• Pens – 005, 01 sepia or black micron pen or fine tip waterproof equivalent, a white gel or acrylic pen
• Journal - must be at least 140lb. watercolor paper, teacher is using a Strathmore visual journal
