Thank you for your interest in the 10th Annual Iron Soldier Sprint Triathlon!
The 10th Annual Iron Soldier Sprint Triathlon will be hosted at Fort Bliss, TX. The event will include a 400M swim, 20K bike, and 5K run. Early registration is encouraged as this event is open to the general public.
Award Categories: Individual Men's and Women's Age Category, Men's and Women's Overall Category, Top 3 finishers in each age division, Relay Team Category (top three), Youngest and Oldest Competitor, Athena (Over 165 lbs)/ Clydesdale (Over 220)- Top 3.
Event details and schedule
Please remember that all minors participating in the event must have a waiver signed by a parent.
All athletes must submit their certified swim time by 1300 on Friday, 22 September 2023 (NO EXCEPTIONS). Local athletes can be timed at the Aquatics Training Center, 20733 Constitution Ave, during regular business hours. Out of town athletes can email their swim time to: matthew.t.orlowski.civ@army.mil.
Late Registration/Packet Pick-Up:
1100-1300 // 1600-1900 // Thursday, 28 September 2023
1630-1800 // Friday, 29 September 2023
0500-0600 // Saturday, 30 September 2023
Late fee of an additional $5 will apply after 23 September 2023.
Packet Pick-Up closes at 0600 on Saturday, 30 September 2023, for everyone participating in the event. If a packet is not picked up by that time, registered participants may still attend the event but will not be eligible for awards and time will not be recorded.
Race Day Info:
Safety brief will be conducted at 0715 on 30 September 2023 at the Aquatics Training Center. Please plan ahead due to road closures to secure parking.
Start Time: 0730, 30 September 2023.
Award Ceremony: Will be conducted after all timed participants have completed the event. Approximately 1030.
Attire: Proper swimwear required. Shirts must be worn for the bike and run portion of the event. Athletic suits are approved.
