Description
Join Darryl from Major Mushrooms for an informative and enjoyable walk through Willmore as we explore the fascinating world of mushrooms!The guided walk will run from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with an optional Q&A session and opportunity to shop mushroom products afterward.
Meeting Location: Willmore Park, at the base of the toboggan hill. Additional parking is available in the lower day-use parking lot.
Open to all ages, but only adults need to register. Fee is $5 per adult, and children attend free when accompanied by a paying adult. Please indicate in the registration question box if children will be joining so we can monitor attendance numbers.
What to Bring: Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable footwear suitable for walking.
*Please note that no wild mushrooms will be consumed during this walk. This program is intended for educational purposes only. While information regarding mushroom identification, harvesting, and edible species may be discussed, participation in this program does not qualify or certify individuals to identify or consume wild mushrooms. The Town of Edson assumes no liability for the identification, collection, or consumption of mushrooms.
