Description

Join art teachers Brook and Jessie this winter for adult art classes. During this 1.5 hour session, all materials will be provided as you learn art techniques and create something to take home.

Each class is $25. When you register, please indicate which of the classes you plan to attend to reserve your spot. If you change your mind later and want to adore remove a class, call our office and we can help make the adjustment. Financial assistance is also available through the Park & Rec office.

November 6 with Brook- Mega Collages! Mega Collage class will be for anyone who has wanted to make a collage. Brook will be bringing her extensive collection of collage materials which includes many different kinds of magazine images, various handmade papers, and various other colored and metallic papers. You will be able to choose from a different variety of collage possibilities Make a collage card, or a small series of collages or a large collage your choice of focus or I will have some collage prompts on hand as well

November 13 with Jessie- Linoprinting for Greeting Cards. Learn to create a block print stamp specifically for greeting cards and holidays. We will have ink and a press to create multiple cards with your new design. You can also create other art or design that is not for a greeting card. It's open for you to make whatever inspires you!

November 20 with Brook- Cancelled!

December 4 with Jessie- Linoprinting for Fabric Printing Carve your own linoprint stamp. You can print your stamp on paper to create cards, gift tags or wrapping paper. We will also have fabric ink so if you bring bags, clothing or other fabric you can print your design there.

December 11 with Brook- Paint Mini Canvases Paint a tiny landscape or a small snowflake or a design of your choice on a tiny canvas. These small canvases can be wonderful tiny artworks, great for small spaces. They can even be used as ornaments. Canvas sizes are 2"x2", 2.5"x3.5", and 2"x4" Brook will do a demonstration with Acrylic paint to show what's possible and she'll also have some inspirational snowflake and landscape imagery on hand as well to use as reference.
