About this event
Take flight into the exciting world of coding, robotics, and engineering! In this hands-on summer camp, students will program drones to fly, spin, light up, and perform aerial tricks while learning essential STEM skills in a fun and interactive environment. Using both block-based coding and Python, students will build a strong foundation in programming as they bring their drones to life. What Students Will Learn: From Blocks to Python – Start with beginner-friendly drag-and-drop coding, then transition to writing Python for more advanced control Autonomous Flight Missions – Use logic, loops, and sequencing to navigate drones through obstacle courses Sensor Integration – Program drones to react to their environment using color and distance sensors Flight Physics & Mechanics – Explore concepts like balance, trim, and movement (roll, pitch, and yaw) Through exciting challenges like precision landings and obstacle navigation, students will apply real-world engineering and coding concepts in action. Why Join? Build confidence in coding and problem-solving Learn both beginner and advanced programming skills Develop teamwork and critical thinking Experience the thrill of controlling and programming real drones
