The following is information to the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety website that will give you access to the link for Maine Driving Dynamics. Please use link below https://www.maine.gov/dps/bhs/safety-programs/driving-dynamics a. Click on this link i. Click on the drop down that says “Other Courses” ii. You will now see the AAA Driver Improvement Program Online Course 1. AAA is $65 for Non-Members and $55 for Members. There is also an option to purchase a Certificate of Completion for $7.45 a. If you opt to take the AAA DIP Online Course it is imperative you take the STATE OF MAINE course. b. Purchasing a Certificate of Completion is not a requirement; however, I encourage all students to purchase one for their records. Often times, a student may need a copy of the certificate for an employer, insurance company, the courts, etc. After you have completed the course, AAA will notify me of a class completion and will send me all of your information. Your information is then forwarded to the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The BMV will then take care of the demerit points (up to 3 points) on your license.
