About this event
This is a beginner level class and is a great option for anyone looking to explore clay by getting a look at both throwing on the wheel and learning some hand building techniques. Students will start to learn to throw on the pottery wheel, but also have a lesson in coiling, attaching, and the use of slabs during this class, as well as how to finish and glaze pots according to our studio’s systems. It's a ton of information packed into one class, but you will leave with a solid foundation in clay! Enrollment in this class allows students unlimited access to the open studio for the duration of the class, and provides the students with one bag of clay, and one class per week.
