Are you a parent or educator with a desire to learn more about teaching young minds about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math? Sign up for Columbia Memorial Space Center's early childhood STEM education workshop. This workshop is specifically designed for parents and educators of preschool-aged children who want to promote critical thinking and curiosity through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
This specific workshop will focus on introducing STEM related literature to children ages 2-5. Workshop staff will discuss appropriate ways to engage early childhood learners utilizing literature. Participants will practice developing exciting STEM activities that correspond to literature.
The October 7th workshop will be held at the Downey Library.
Lunch will be provided for all registrants.Pre-registration is required.
