About this event
This class will encompass beginner music theory skills including key signatures, intervals, scales, rhythms, ear training, and more. It will also focus on basic music history and music appreciation including listening to music from different time periods and places around the world and discussing the piece’s form, instruments of the orchestra, and composer background. There will be additional times offered on Saturday for this class. This class is open to students in Civic Arco String Orchestra, Civic Sinfonia String Orchestra, & Civic Concert Band.
