The Boll Family YMCA is partnering with the Detroit Public Library for Rhythm and Reads!

At this session experience Afro-Contemporary, a dance style that is a culmination of extensive knowledge, technique, and Afro-Caribbean background. Designed for all levels and backgrounds looking to add something new to their repertoire, this class introduces Afrobeat, Coupe Decale, Soca, Reggae, Samba, and more while applying familiar terminology and technique from ballet and contemporary.
