Adult Beginner 2.0 Tennis League – Beginner players who want to participate in a fun competitive social tennis 6 week league on Thursday Evenings. Grab a friend or two to form a team and be ready for some guided match play. Each week, teams will play 1 line of Singles and 1 line of Doubles, this will be a 3 v 3 format where players are allowed to switch out with teammates after every game. The scoring format will be Best 2 of 3 sets to 6 games, with a 3rd set 10-point tiebreaker in-lieu of a full 3rd set. Each site will have a Tennis Coach/Coordinator that will help facilitate matches and collect scores each week. Team standings and score will be posted on CityWide Sports website. This is a pilot league designed to help beginner players learn about team tennis and league play. Participants should know basic tennis strokes and are looking to learn how to play a full tennis match.
