Stepping-On is an evidence-based program designed for people 65 years or older who have experienced a fall or are concerned about falling. This program meets once a week for 7 weeks, with each session lasting 2 hours. The program reviews daily balance and strength exercises that can aid in preventing falls and promotes open dialogue and education for reducing falls risk. Over the course of the program, our Denver Health facilitators will be joined by guest experts who provide knowledge on exercise, mobility, vision, medication management, and community safety. Guest experts include occupational therapists, pharmacists, community safety officers, and ophthalmologists.
