This class will allow you to learn along with your child of the basics of Fencing. The Allez Fencing Group will provide you with all the equipment and instruction, you just have fun with your child. Learn fencing basics - advance, retreat, lunge, point in line, four basic parries, simple attacks, use of distance, fencing measure, rules of play, and basic strategy. Class consists of warm-up games, stretching, footwork and fencing drills along with bouting practice against other class members. Please bring a new (not worn on the street) pair of thin soled gym shoes to use for fencing. T-shirt and long workout pants needed. Water bottle recommended.
