Join our completely FREE 9-week residential construction program that will help you build the knowledge and skills necessary for an entry-level job in the building industry or work on personal home projects. Basics of Residential Construction will run from January 26th to April 2nd on Mondays through Thursdays, 8-11am. Students can opt for an optional certification based on the Home Builders Institute Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training (PACT) standards. Learn with Industrial Arts Instructor Eric Beachy. What You'll Learn: - introduction to carpentry, electric, and plumbing - intro to tools and materials - workplace safety - construction math - employability skills This course runs Monday to Thursday, 8-11am, January 26th to April 2nd.
