Have you got portable DIY building projects you could use a hand with? Or are you looking for a good introduction to carpentry, woodworking, or shop skills? Join Industrial Arts Instructor Eric Beachy for Open Shop Sessions. You can attend open sessions on Mondays 8-10am and Wednesdays 4-6pm (excluding school holidays and during the construction program 1/26-4/2). This pass program allows for more flexibility as you are able to pick when you want to attend and passes never expire. *Important note: sessions will be reduced during the 9-week construction program running January 26th to April 2nd. During this time, they will meet on Fridays 8-10am.* What you'll Learn: Eric will provide tool use instruction and guide you through independent projects. Materials: The shop has a wide variety of hand tools and standard power tools. Our house material, free for use, is reclaimed gymnasium bleacher wood. Students will be responsible for the purchase of specialty materials. This class is for ages 16 and up, or by permission of the director.
