Major Taylor Cycling Club of Dayton will host their 14th annual Major Taylor Signature Bike Ride
There are 4 routes (17, 40, metric century and century) and a 5-10 mile family fun ride. The routes are open to all ages (though those under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult AND a parent or guardian is required to accompany all participants 12 years or under on the family ride). A guided family fun ride will begin at 9:30 am.
The routes will be flat to rolling hills. After the 1st rest stop the route becomes more challenging for the 40, metric century and century. The route takes you through Dayton, Moraine, Jefferson, West Carrollton, Farmersville, Lewisburg, Brookville and back to Dayton.
- The 17 and 40 mile riders may start at 6:30am to 8:30am.
- Metric and Century riders will need to start at 6:30am to be at Ketcher Park by 10am.
- The century route includes a challenging hilly loop through Germantown Township.
Early registration is $35 and ends July 2nd. After July 2nd, registration is $40. The family ride is $5.
Ride includes 5 rest stops and SAG support.Cue sheets may be printed by riders. No preprinted cue sheets will be provided at the event. This year's designated Charity for the 2021 Signature ride is House of Bread. House of Bread, a non profit Dayton community kitchen providing hot nutritious meals daily.
