About this event
In this class we are going to put our creative skills to use by making jewelry, figurines, key chains and other crafts with Polymer Clay! Polymer Clay is an art medium that is known for its flexibility and versatility. It stays continually soft and can be baked in a home oven, while keeping its color and size. You will learn how to work with the clay, learn basic techniques and create your own designs. Instructor Vanessa Restrepo has a passion for art, design and fashion. She has been making jewelry and other clay creations for years, and is an artist with her own company in the Bay Area. She loves working with youth to help expand horizons and share respect for our multicultural community. If you have already taken this course in the Fall of the ‘22-23 school year and loved it, please feel free to sign up again! Our Winter session will be creating a different set of projects.
