Period C: Confidence Through Communication (advanced) A slightly more advanced version, campers will strengthen communication skills by learning how to research ideas, evaluate evidence, and build clear, logical arguments. This course will utilize games, mock debates and writing activities to improve critical thinking, analytical writing and confidence in public speaking, all while defending fun and thought provoking positions. Period D: CIS Design Lab: 3D Printing and Laser Cutting In this hands-on class, campers will learn to use 3D printers and laser cutters in the Athenian Carter Innovation Studio to design and build their own interactive projects. Campers will learn the fundamentals of engineering design, from problem-solving to prototyping. No experience is required!
