Winter can be a great time to plan and prep your garden for spring planting. Join us for a two day workshop to create a plan for your space. Please bring photos of your location, and proximate measurements for your project. Day 1 we will gather and carpool to a couple of the student's sites where we will talk about the space and document specific features of the space. We will end the first day by brainstorming and coming up with a plan for each of the designs. Day 2 we will draw the design, come up with a plant list and talk about approximate placement of particular plants and steps for installation. You will walk away with your own design for your own property. Please let us know if you would like your property to be one of our site visits and please bring your lunch to both classes. Mei-Ling Cheung has a background in horticulture, urban forestry and permaculture. In her newest endeavor, she is providing a variety of classes to help people learn how to live a more sustainable lifestyle. Her classes focus on practical, hands-on skills and her style of teaching is fun and casual, yet structured and informative.
