Hey There, Kids (Ages 6 to 12 years), Come join the Holiday Drawing FUN! This Holiday Drawing FUN FEST features holiday food characters, alien friends, cold weather friends and more! We will be learning how to personify inanimate objects, transforming them into fully-realized cartoon characters. Human-like expressions and gestures are applied, giving the characters a cartoon-like quality. The alien drawings are excellent for drawing figures with expressive faces and dynamic poses. The students will also see how all of the elements of a drawing can come together to convey a story through a single illustration. Since these drawings are filled with multiple characters and objects, strong compositional skills are encouraged to create a balanced drawing. Winter friends features a cartoon penguin and a cartoon polar bear. These drawings feature multiple objects and dynamically-posed characters, and strong compositions. Enjoy the FUN FEST NOW! Supplies needed 8.5” x 11” white drawing paper (office paper is perfect), #2 pencil, eraser, Crayola Thick Markers, Crayola Color Pencils, 9” x 12” construction paper, pencil sharpener and stapler, usually found at local stores like Target, Walgreen's, etc., required and supplies list will be provided after enrollment: Special Zoom link will be emailed to payee prior to first class start. Must have good internet connection and Zoom. *Zoom LInk will be sent following registration.
