About this event
All National Inventors Hall of Fame education programs are built on the belief that every child can invent. Through open-ended, hands-on exploration, children build the I Can Invent Mindset - a growth mindset infused with lessons from world-changing inventors - that enables and empowers them in all areas of their lives. Camp will be divided into four modules that will unlock creative potential by including opportunities for campers to experience design thinking, creative problem solving, entrepreneurship, intellectual property, innovation, persistence, confidence, and innovation. This year's camp modules will include: Make Waves - Campers explore ocean science and entrepreneurship as they invent products, pitch ideas, and create bold ads that help their ideas make waves. Space Morphers - On a mission to a distant exoplanet, campers research ecosystems, design survival inventions, and launch a device to monitor their planet from Earth. The Infringers - Campers design community-solving inventions, add security features, and learn how patents protect innovative ideas. Fur-ensics - With robotic capybaras as sidekicks, campers become detectives—analyzing evidence, inventing gadgets, and solving the case. Camp Invention is offered in partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame. To learn more, visit https://www.invent.org.
