The Advanced Program is our highest level of training and competition, designed for wrestlers who are ready to make a commitment to their development and to representing Wildcat Wrestling Club in competition. This program for athletes who have demonstrated fundamental wrestling ability, work ethic, maturity, and commitment necessary to train and compete. Wrestlers will need a strong understanding of foundational techniques and be ready to develop advanced techniques, strategy, conditioning, and match skills. Competition & Commitment Advanced wrestlers are expected to actively compete throughout the season and represent Wildcat Wrestling Club at our scheduled competitions. This includes local and regional tournaments, as well as select national-level events. Being in the Advanced program means committing to the team's competition schedule and making competition a priority throughout the season. Families should communicate tournament conflicts with coaches as early as possible. Advanced wrestlers are expected to: Attend practices consistently and arrive prepared to train. Take responsibility for their training, conditioning, and continued development. Represent Wildcat Wrestling Club with respect and sportsmanship both on and off the mat. All 8th grade wrestlers will practice with the Elite Program regardless of experience level. USA Wrestling Membership All Elite wrestlers are required to have a current USA Wrestling membership card in order to practice and compete with the club. Financial Assistance We never want finances to be the reason an athlete cannot participate. If financial assistance or another payment option is needed, please reach out to us.
