This hands-on workshop introduces educators to the power of podcasting as a tool to enhance learning, spark student creativity, and deepen classroom engagement. Participants will explore the essentials of podcast production - from concept development and content planning to recording, editing, and publishing - using user-friendly tools suitable for any skill level. Through interactive presentations, group discussions, and guided practice, educators will brainstorm project ideas aligned with their teaching goals, experiment with audio storytelling, and learn strategies for integrating podcasts across subjects and grade levels. The session also covers best practices for student privacy, copyright, and digital citizenship, and includes creating an assessment aligned with Microsoft’s 21st Century Learning Design. By the end, participants will leave with the confidence and resources to launch their own classroom podcasts or support student-led podcasting initiatives. NOTE: This workshop is for educators only.
