SPARK! Wilderness Girls Club is a safe place to be yourself. Spark curiosity, confidence, and connection. Find your brave with SPARK!Activities may include exploring our natural surroundings, adventure art, team building, nature journals, songs, storytelling, outdoor cooking, fire building, using outdoor tools, building forts and fairy houses, and whittling. Outdoor adventure education helps children develop resilience, stewardship, confidence, and a deeper connection to the natural world. Our fully unplugged outdoor program invites participants into the magical world of Maine’s wild places while fostering inquiry, independence, and self-reliance. A snack is provided.Open to girls, transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming youth. Led by a Registered Maine Guide, this program provides a safe, supportive, and fun way to experience adventure in nature.Students can take the bus directly from school to the program.
