Lithium batteries are found in many household items, toys, wireless games and products, scooters, etc. Understanding their unique characteristics is essential to preventing the tragedy of a household fire, or worse, due to misuse or damage to a lithium battery.

Presented by the Culpeper Model Barnstormers radio control model airplane club, this presentation will address safe use, charging and storage practices designed to prevent an uncontrolled lithium battery detonation and fire.
