Description

We will learn some of the historical and cultural significances of drums, then join guest Jeff Redcrow in a Drum Circle where we will try a variety of drumming styles and rhythms as we enter the spring season of renewal. Please bring your own hand drum(s) of any type- both beginners and experienced drummers are welcome and encouraged to register. If you don’t own your own drum, don’t fret! We will send instructions to make your own drum out of simple household materials in advance of the program.NOTE: While this program is scheduled to be indoors, if the weather is particularly pleasant, and suitable for the drums, we will instead move outdoors.
