Description

Be introduced to basic astronomy and becoming an amateur astronomer! Learn about the sky above and the tools used to view it. Weather permitting, there may be observation after class at Covington Community Park. Participants should bring binoculars or telescopes if they have one and a notebook and pencil. Classes are held once a month on the same day as the Seattle Astronomical Society Star Party.
Located in Neptune's Cove at the Covington Aquatic Center.
**On Saturday following the September class join us at Covington Community Park for "International Observe the Moon" day.**
