In 2023 CLL will create a 6-8 year old AA Division based on players age and skill levels. Our goal continues to be to ensure better development for our players at all ages and skill levels by providing full, well-rounded experiences in an environment where they can achieve personal growth and success.
All players 6-8 year olds will now be places on teams AA Division. Players will be placed into a AA Division Tier based on their age, size, and skill level as determined at a required assessment, in accordance with National Little League Green Book rules.
The regular season will end for all tiers with a “play-to win” Coronado AA Division championship tournament. The winners of the upper (oldest) tier will advance to postseason play outside of Coronado. Players at all levels can expect one or two practices a week, a weekday game and a Saturday game every week.
