Is your tween or teen feeling a little too old for summer camp, but they need to stay active and involved during the summer? Trail Trekkers is the answer! Trail Trekkers is a summer camp designed especially for middle schoolers who enjoy riding bikes, swimming, and time with their fellow peers. Most mornings will be spent on community service-learning projects and learning/self-development opportunities. The afternoons are spent swimming, exploring as well as doing other fun activities in the corridor area.

The staff will facilitate, while the participants are actively involved with the planning of the program's weekly development. Each week consists of new activities and adventures along with weekly field trips. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community while making and meeting new friends. The program is open for students entering 6th through 9th grade, program will meet in the gym at Community of Christ for the summer 2026 due to construction at Kate Wickham. Trekkers will average about 5 to 10 miles a day on their bikes. Must have a working gear bicycle along with a helmet for this program.
