About this event
K to 2nd Mini Makers: Magic, 3D Models, Robots & Minecraft Adventures! Kid-Friendly Theme: Heroes on a Quest! Kids love Minecraft and inventing their own heroes, so we turn that into learning. Students code their own digital stories, design real 3D objects, and then bring their heroes to life by building and programming simple robots that move, light up, and go on missions. Their creations travel from the screen to the table, and the quest continues. Tools Used: Minecraft Education, 3D Modeling Tools, Kid-Friendly Robotics Kits 3rd to 4th World Builders: AR/VR, 3D Worlds, Robotics & Minecraft Coding! Kid-Friendly Theme: Game Studio Directors! From virtual reality to epic Minecraft coding challenges, students take total control of the screen as real game developers and digital architects. This semester is about bringing digital imagination to life in three dimensions. Students master more advanced coding logic and explore AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality). They also design 3D parts in Tinkercad and 3D-pen creations, then connect them to robotics by building, programming, and testing robots that sense, move, and complete challenges in the worlds they design.
