This workshop is for participants who have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes with an A1c of 6.5% or higher. Those who do not have Type 2 diabetes but who are caring for someone with Type 2 Diabetes would also benefit from this workshop. This workshop will help the participants learn how to better manage and possibly reverse Type 2 Diabetes by implementing dietary and lifestyle changes.

Brief Instructor Bio: Melissa Ptak has been a registered nurse for 26 years. She is also a family nurse practitioner, a certified diabetes care and education specialist, and a certified health coach.
