Enter the fantastic world of rattlesnakes and explore the remarkable adaptations of their ancestral lineage, evolution, hunting tactics, reproduction, and hibernation behaviors. Discover safety steps that you can take to avoid surprise encounters. Uncover that these slithering reptiles are not as frightening as you have been taught to believe.
Meet in the center of the main lobby at the Bison Ridge Recreation Center. Look for the Park Ranger. We may take a short walk outside to discuss challenges facing the rattlesnake. Please dress for the weather and wear close toe shoes. Feel free to bring snacks and water.
