About this event
Description
This class will teach the basics of sculpture and mold-making to create silicone recreations. Participants will use hand tools to sculpt and finish their projects from oven bake clay. Next, they will learn how to make a box or tray mold to recreate their projects with silicone. These techniques can be widely used to recreate objects, accessories, and pieces of art.
Students are asked to wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty. They should also bring an apron and noise-softening earplugs if they are sensitive to loud noise
All silicones and pigments used for these casts are made of body-safe, bacteria resistant, medical grade materials.
