We look forward to a special Howard County employee evening at Toby’s Dinner Theatre for a buffet dinner and musical show of “The Wizard of Oz!” This is an “off duty” activity open to Howard County employees and their guests.
Event, Tables, and Accessibility: This is a group event for Howard County employees and their guests. Please note that you will be sharing tables. If your or your guests’ accessibility needs change after you purchase your tickets, please contact Lizzie Gelber at 410-313-2025 or EGelber@HowardCountyMD.gov immediately.
When purchasing tickets, please enroll under the employee's name and then change the quantity to match the number of tickets you need for your group. Please keep your ticket purchase to 6 or less.
Tickets:Registration and Waitlist Deadline: Purchase your ticket(s) by Wednesday, April 29, 2026. This is a first-come, first-served event for 200 seats. Please purchase no more 6 tickets for your party. Tickets for the Employee Night are only available through Howard County (not through Toby’s).
Children ages 3 and up are permitted to attend a show at Toby’s Dinner Theater. Tickets are not available for purchase for infants and children 2 years and younger.
If tickets sell out, we will have a waitlist (last day to sign up on waitlist is April 29). We will contact those on the waitlist closer to the date of the show, should more seats become available.
SeatingYou will be seated with your guest(s) and family member(s). Seating assignments will be given closer to May 29. If you are interested in sitting with another party, have one person purchase all of the seats in one receipt—but please note that your party may be assigned between two adjacent tables. We will do our best to keep each party together.

To enroll online, you can use your existing account with Recreation and Parks or you can create a new account when enrolling. Effective December 1, 2025, a 2.4% processing fee will apply to all card transactions. You can enroll over the phone or in person with cash, check or an electronic check for no fee.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you can no longer use your tickets, we will notify you of opportunities for those on the waitlist to purchase your tickets—though that is not a guarantee.
