Take a walk through learning "In the Neighborhood", a thoughtfully designed unit that empowers students to explore the communities around them while building key STEM and social-emotional skills. Using LEGO® SPIKE Prime kits, students design and construct familiar places—like homes, schools, shops, and parks—and simulate the systems that keep a neighborhood thriving. Along the way, they dive into concepts like transportation, communication, energy, and infrastructure, integrating engineering, design thinking, and basic programming to solve real-world challenges.
