Join us for a discussion with local authors of Dig In: Outdoor STEM Learning with Young Children. Lea Ann Christenson, PhD and Jenny James, MA, will share research about the importance of providing children rich experiences in nature to authentically teach STEM concepts, social emotional learning, and academic skills. Learn how significant life experiences in nature lead to environmental sustainability, critical thinking, and sensorial learning for children and adults alike. Participants will be given practical tips that will inspire families to move engaging STEM learning to the outdoors.
