We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Friday, February 10, 2023.
Give your young home schoolers a chance to learn skills and gain exposure to nature and science topics at an age-appropriate pace. Activities are designed to introduce concepts as well as to increase comfort with and foster excitement about the natural world. Classes are held once a month. Sign up is per season (3 classes).
Fall Topics: Habitats, Seasons, First Impressions.
Winter Topics: Nature at Night, Dinosaurs, Animal Signs.
Spring Topics: Birds, Snakes & Turtles, Bugs & Butterflies.
You are registering for the 1st Thursday 4-5 year old session of the Winter 2022 home school classes. This class meets on the following dates: Dec 1, Jan 5, Feb 9 2022. Please note, Fall and Spring home school sessions require a separate registration.
All participants must complete a participant form, which will be emailed out prior to each season. Please ensure you check the email address associated with your Howard County Recreation & Parks account for this information.
