May is Historic Preservation Month! Over the past year and a half, historians and archaeologists with Recreation and Parks have been conducting archaeological research and preservation of the 18th and 19th century Plantation "Blandair" in Columbia. This tour guides you through the process of historic preservation and gives you a behind-the-scenes look before a site opens to the public.
