Description
Connect and Thrive: Looking to build meaningful connections; engage in enriching activities; and be part of a supportive community? Connect and Thrive offers a welcoming environment where individuals come together for group events, personal growth opportunities, and social enrichment. Participation in this program requires preapproval to ensure the best experience for all involved. (This allows us to create a well-matched group and provide personalized support based on each participant’s needs and goals.) Program is designed for individuals who are independent with personal care need, mild developmental disabilities. Staff-to-participant ratio is 1:6. Individuals requiring 1:1 supports are not eligible for the program at this time. Contact ustoday to begin the preapproval process. Space is limited. Get Social: Looking to connect and socialize with peers over games? Join us for weekly games and leisure with peers. Focus of the program is social engagement with peers. Participants should be prepared to interact and have some comfort level using a keyboard and/or microphone. Consider participating in a Virtual Online Tutorial prior to program. For inclement weather information please call 410-313-4451. Fee is inclusive of activities other than dining. Please do not arrive at programs more than five minutes before the start of the program. Be ready to leave as soon as the program is over. Supervision is not provided before the scheduled start time. Excessive early drop-offs and late pick-ups may result in being dropped from the program.
