Are you a plant lover who appreciates funky, organic planters? This workshop on carved planters uses faceting techniques similar to the Japanese style of Kurinuki to create one-of-a-kind pots inspired by nature. During this hands-on workshop, participants will learn various carving and texturing techniques to create their own unique planter out of a solid block of clay. Students will then choose from our collection of beautiful glazes to complete their piece or may return during our drop-in schedule to glaze it themselves. No clay experience? No problem! This project is perfect for both beginner and experienced potters.
