Wild Clay is excited to welcome two professional artist demos on Saturday, June 20th. This is a very valuable event that will help you grow as an artist--come learn from two extremely talented ceramic artists! We will be hosting an award-winning duo from Memphis, TN: Cat Traen and Rob Lawarre. They will each give a 3-hour artist demo that showcases their unique approach to Ceramics while sharing tons of tips and techniques that you can apply to your own work. Even though these are primarily sculptors & hand-builders, there will be plenty of overlap that can be applied to wheel-thrown projects as well! Cat's demo, "Body Language," will feature figurative sculpting processes from 10am-1pm, then we will break for 90 minutes for lunch on your own. Rob's demo, "Not Too Slabby Handbuilding," will demo slab forms, textures and attachments from 2:30pm-5:30pm. We will not be open for drop-ins or hosting our Saturday Spins class on this day. **Note that these are demos not workshops, so only the artists will be making work** General Public Adult Price: $90/session, or $160 for both Kids 6-18yrs/College students: $75/session, $130 for both $10 off pricing through Sat 6/6!
