Description
Explore color, texture, and design in this hands-on introduction to mosaics! This class welcomes both beginners and those with prior experience. You'll learn how to cut and shape tile and glass, design a layout, and use adhesives and grout to complete your own mosaic artwork. Students with experience may work on independent projects with instructor support. Safety is a top priority- participants must wear close toed shoes and follow all safety guidelines. Some hand and arm strength is needed for cutting and setting pieces. A $50 material fee is due at the beginning of each session, covering tile, glass, adhesive, grout, and tool use. The class is held on city property, and all students are expected to treat the space and tools with respect. Whether you're creating your first mosaic or refining your skills, this class offers a supportive and inspiring environment.
