About this event

Description

This intermediate/advanced stained glass workshop is intended for artist with prior experience working in the copper foil (Tiffany-style) technique. The class provides structured studio time for self-directed projects, allowing participants to develop, refine, or complete their own stained glass work in a shared studio setting. Technical guidance and problem-solving support are available as needed, but instruction is not step-by-step. Participants are expected to be comfortable with glass cutting, foiling, and soldering, and to work independently while following all safety protocols. Closed-toed shoes are required, and the work involves sustained use of hands and arms for cutting and soldering.
A $75 materials fee is due at the beginning of each session and covers access to glass, foil, solder, and tools. The workshop takes place on city property; participants are responsible for treating the space and the equipment with care. Cleanup is a required part of the process, and everyone helps maintain the facility.
