About this event
Description
This session introduces four essential oils that fit into everyday life: at home, at work, or while traveling: true lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), sweet orange (Citrus sinensis), rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus) 1,8-cineole, and eucalyptus dives (Eucalyptus dives). Participants will learn a bit about each plant, and how essential oils can help to support calmness, breath, memory, sleep, and a sense of overall balance. Simple inhalation and topical methods of use, with guidance on safe dilution, general precautions, and everyday application will be introduced. Participants will also receive tips on how to shop mindfully for essential oils. Hands-on activities include guided smelling and the creation of an inhaler or a topical blend to take home. This session emphasizes that working with essential oils can be safe, sustainable, accessible, and enjoyable, helping participants build confidence using medicinal and aromatic plant medicine while honoring both people and plants.
