Take your clay creations to the next level with glazing techniques that go beyond just dipping into the bucket! In this workshop, students will learn 8 different approaches to creating dynamic & engaging surfaces, including sponging, bubble glazing, strategic splattering, and more. Each participant will then glaze 3 of their own pieces using the techniques they had just learned. Current Wild Clay students and members are invited to bring in their own bisqueware (**Please do not bring any bisqueware from outside the Wild Clay studio) Bisqueware options: bring up to 5 small (1-3"), 3 medium (4-5") or 1 large (7"+) pieces to experiment on). Don't have any pots to glaze? That's okay! There will also be a limited amount of bisque pieces available to purchase ahead of time so you can come empty-handed and leave with several pieces with your own glaze painting! (purchase below, option available until 7/31 to give us time to prepare them). Glazes and Firings are included in this workshop!
