Experience wildlife up close as you explore the Oakland Zoo, then ride the gondola for breathtaking views on our way to enjoy a delicious, hosted meal at either the rooftop Landing Café or Tusker’s Grill.Oakland Zoo was established on June 6, 1922, when the Oakland institution officially opened to the public and is home to more than 850 native and exotic animals! It features the new, large California Trail with native species and a scenic gondola ride, offering a strong conservation message alongside visitor experiences. Join us for a day with the animals at your own pace and use your included meal voucher for lunch at either Tuskar’s Grill or take the gondola to the Rooftop Landing Café!
All Trips include roundtrip motorcoach transportation, trip escort, driver gratuity and refreshments to and from the tour destination. Coaches have restrooms on board.Listed times are approximate and are subject to change. A detailed itinerary will be given to registrants 1–2 weeks before the trip.Charter bus can accommodate wheelchairs and walkers. Participants in wheelchairs must provide at least 30 days’ advance notice to ensure a bus with a wheelchair lift is reserved.
