About This Activity
Grit Baseball camps is an elite baseball program designed to give aspiring athletes a deeper understanding of baseball and how to compete with an edge. Grit is dedicated to building better leaders & getting players to the next level. Attn: Parents & players, Recruiters are always looking for the best two-sport athlete in the area to show their bosses. Our programs will assess if athletes have the necessary abilities for progression, but in addition we will demonstrate situational baseball (what to-do next). After players charge the ball, do they throw to 1st or check the runner? Players read bunt, do you get the lead runner or the runner going to 1st (how many outs…) ? Coaches will include: • Ray Villaneuva • Mike Thompson • Sterling Smith • Mike Taylor • Awaiting other Confirmations Athletes will have the opportunity to: • Learn from experienced players & coaches (Collegiate & international level) • Become better hitters & more knowledgeable baserunners • Pitch recognition • Increase speed & change of direction skills • Compete at highest level • Lead other leaders
