Registration will close on May 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Let your reading goals grow this spring with the Spring Reading Challenge! Girl Scouts of all levels are invited to accept the challenge and read with us! Participants will read at their own pace and complete a spring-themed reading tracker along the way. Whether you love graphic novels, chapter books, audiobooks, or reading aloud with family, this challenge is designed to be flexible, inclusive, and fun. To earn the patch, participants must choose at least 1 book from our reading list, read for 20 total hours throughout the challenge, and submit the Reading Reflection Log. On March 1, registered participants will receive the reading list, tracker, and reading log instructions via email. Participants who register after March 1 will receive their materials via confirmation email. Patches will not be sent unless Reading Reflection Log is submitted! Patches will be mailed at the close of the program. A patch will be provided for registered youth participants who complete a reading log. Visit our Council Shop for more Girl Scout swag.
