Celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks extravaganza at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds. This annual event features live music featuring KOS Band, a wide variety of food vendors, a Kids Zone with inflatables, and strolling entertainers. This fun-filled event is great for all ages!

Gates open at 5 p.m. and fireworks start at dark.
Allowable items:

• Chairs
• Blankets
• Coolers

Prohibited items:

• Alcohol
• Glass bottles
• Illegal weapons
• Personal fireworks
• Tents/canopies
• Pets. Only service animals are allowed.

All persons subject to search.

The event will take place rain or shine. Follow the Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation Facebook or Instagram pages and Chesterfield.gov/Fireworks for event updates. In case of severe weather, please go to your vehicle or seek shelter as directed by event staff.
Enter the parking area and be directed to park at • L.C. Bird High School (including handicap accessible parking) • Career and Technical Center - Courthouse Campus • O.B. Gates Elementary School • Chesterfield County Government Complex parking lots will be used as closer lots fill.
