Description

During this program we will take an intriguing look at the evolution and development of the rifle bayonet. Real and reproduction bayonets and scabbards will be shown to demonstrate the evolution over the 200- year lifespan. What was the purpose of the bayonet? Who manufactured them? How many were made? Are they collectible? The program will be offered by Jerry Netherland, Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia President and Board member.
